The whole family - from children and cats to hosts, hostesses and grandparents - every moment of my stay I felt welcomed. Home cooked meals, self made bread, jams and yoghurt for breakfast - just exeptional! Unimaginable neighborhood on the docks, small pathways above waters spreading around this part of little island village - high tides and lows, fishing ships that were there one day, gone the next just to be repaced by yet anotherones. Fresh fish, drying fish, mellow music, driftwood deck, hammocks, passing riverboats and fishing ships - just poetic. And there was not a single boring moment unless I planned one - the host knew just where a traveller needed to go and almost seamlessly just organised everything. Blessed times! Thank you!

It is always a pleasure to have only good things to say about a place. Villa Varich exceeded our expectations. The reception was easy, we were allowed to check in early, the receptionist was gracious and helpful, spoke excellent English and provided us with a nice map and lots of information about the area such as good restaurants and things to do. A HUGE bonus is that they have Kayaks available to use, for FREE! So we stayed an extra day to Kayak the river and it was great fun. Also, bicycles are supplied free! A nearby restaurant with Hug in the name (can't remember the entire name) served the best fruit som tam I've ever had.
