His wife, Dao, cooks up excellent regional breakfasts, and perhaps even a dinner if asked. Truly, Go for the Asian breakfast, not the toast option. The son, Oak, takes care of customers, and oversees housekeeping. He gave me a bicycle for my stay, and helped others to get to and from the train station that’s a distance from Phrae. His English is good and the whole family does its best to help.

Would come back anytime - our stay was very satisfying. Young lady in the reception - the one with very good English ( our rudeness not asking her name) - she is really special - nice, kind, intelligent with good sense of humor, this lady made us feel welcome. She helped us with bike rental. When we checked out and booked grab taxi, the driver wanted to charge us extra on the top of agreed price. The receptionist spoke with him over the phone. She was so outraged by his claim that she canceled the ride and drove us to the train station by her own car. She refused any compensation.

We had a great time. The Chalets are beautiful. They are spacious and wonderfully designed. Looking over the rice fields and towards the mountains was such a treat. My children loved having a deep bath on the balcony area! We got up early and took some incredible photos of the sun rising. Khun Tik and Khun Vut went above and beyond to give us the best experience. We enjoyed having dinner with them; the chef, Khun Sorn cooked us one of the best meals we had eaten over the span of our trip. I would highly recommend this Chalet. It will be a stay we won’t forget.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The woman is so sweet and helpful. Explains all the things to see around and make very good breakfast. Beautiful old house. The beds in the dorm was separated with curtains so it felt like a private room. Free bicycles.
