The cabins were cute, with good quality beds and bedding, very comfortable. The location couldn’t be more central, it was perfect for us. The lady at reception (presume the property Owner/manager) was incredibly helpful. At first I thought she was being salesy but then realised that everything she helped with was very good and more efficient than we could have procured on our own. Highly recommend getting her to organise your boat trip but ask what is best based on the weather and the tides etc so you get advice not just to meet what you ask for but to suit the conditions. The laundry service was very efficient too.

The best part was the hospitality from Kookai and her family. She arranged all of our transport between islands and the airport— it was fast, well priced and hassle-free can’t recommend this place enough. Absolutely fantastic customer care. Easy to get anywhere on the island for just 50baht per person, they have a little motorcycle taxi at the hotel we never had to wait could easily pop into town whenever we wanted. Walking distance to lovely Charlie beach.

This 4-star hotel offers room service and a 24-hour front desk. The hotel has a restaurant, and A Lo Dang Beach is 2 km away. Incredibly beautiful place to stay with staff who were so kind and helpful the whole stay. The resort is set up slightly on a hill so has beautiful views of the pier and the beach, which on one day we sat next to the swing in the shade and painted the scene as a family. They have towels and a beach mat to borrow to take whenever you like and a Tuk Tuk ready to take you where you need to go (for a small standard Tuk Tuk fee payable at check out). They arranged a cooking class for us which was short but still sweet and enjoyable. They also arranged a boat tour to the emerald cave (a must see) and snorkelling on Koh Kradan (another nearby beautiful island). Finally they arranged out exit from the island including a taxi from Trang to Krabi. (When we left we also forgot a bag which the hotel took back to the pier for us and put on the next boat, all while commmunicating directly with our taxi driver to keep him informed of its arrival!)

Well we wanted a jungle experience and got it. Torrential rain at night . Jungle animal noises. We stayed in a pole house style room . It was beautiful with a huge balcony up high to watch life go by. Came with free sparkling wine, a 500 bht dinner credit,and free waterfalls national park entry. These falls were spectacular at the highest end. Staff were super smiley and helpful. Beautiful grounds to walk around.

This 3-star resort offers room service and a tour desk. Rooms have a balcony with garden views. Simple no-nonsense accommodation near the Koh Mook Pier. This is the second time I am staying here and I would come back again. Rooms are as advertised - large and equipped with everything you need for a 5-night stay. Internet was working well, I had a large fridge in my room, bed was king-size and comfortable. The lady who manages this place is the best part of the stay here, though. She gave us some fresh fruit every time we came back from the beach and was super-pleasant to communicate with even though she does not speak much English. Location is also great - steps away from the beach, but not beachfront, so it stays quiet and undisturbed. Sheets and towels are replaced every second day. They give you beach towels, so no need to bring your own. Also, book-swap desk at the reception, so we found new reading material once we finished our own. Once the sun goes down, they light up the anti-mosquito cans right on the patio, so you can still sit outside.
