The food was varied and always fresh. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything I needed. I would definitely stay here again and can highly recommend it to anyone visiting Koh Chang!

But what mostly stood out was how friendly and helpful the staff was. While everyone was amazing, i really want to point out that the young woman that was at the reception mostly in the morning/noon was the sweetest and so so helpful. I’m sorry, I didn’t catch your name. I would recommend everyone to stay here and enjoy the gorgeous sunset on the beach right in front of the hotel :)

Koh Chang is a beautiful island—not only is the island itself lovely but so are the people who live there. No exception at Lonely Groove: Lemon and her sister were so happy, kind and caring, their big smiles and warmth reminded me of being at home with my mom. I felt safe and comfortable my entire stay. I loved chatting to them before heading out to explore or after coming back from a long day in the sun. Some notes: the bungalows are further inland which means less foot traffic and noise from other hotels/bars; it's peaceful, quiet and clean; the beach is less than five minutes away (stop by all cafes/restaurants on the way to/from the beach!); my bungalow was modest and roomy, had all the necessities, including a mosquito net, and aircon didn't cost much more; hammock on the outside patio; watch out for monkeys who want to take your food! I would love to come back.
