The food was varied and always fresh. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything I needed. I would definitely stay here again and can highly recommend it to anyone visiting Koh Chang!

The main road offers many restaurants, both delicious streetfood and other options incl. Italian, Korean and Greek. There is a Buddhist Temple across the Seven Eleven. Baan Rim Klong offers the perfect central location to explore Koh Chang by scooter, which Bris rents at a very reasonable price. The Staff is very helpful and extremely kind. The beach itself is one of the most beautiful on the island, and the staff keeps it perfectly clean and peaceful. We loved the little touches: mosquito repellents for the balcony, a super cute dog that belongs to one of the staff, and even the body lotion and shampoo were high-end and luxurious. Overall, a wonderful experience — we couldn’t recommend this place more!

No exception at Lonely Groove: Lemon and her sister were so happy, kind and caring, their big smiles and warmth reminded me of being at home with my mom. I felt safe and comfortable my entire stay. I loved chatting to them before heading out to explore or after coming back from a long day in the sun. Some notes: the bungalows are further inland which means less foot traffic and noise from other hotels/bars; it's peaceful, quiet and clean; the beach is less than five minutes away (stop by all cafes/restaurants on the way to/from the beach!); my bungalow was modest and roomy, had all the necessities, including a mosquito net, and aircon didn't cost much more; hammock on the outside patio; watch out for monkeys who want to take your food! I would love to come back.
