Everything was very very good.

We had an exceptional experience at this resort. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always making sure every detail was taken care of. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. Breakfast was very good.

It’s charming timeless design and extraordinary location and view. The room was wonderful and had a lovely stay. Waking up with that terrace pool overlooking the river was priceless. Service was impeccable. Everyone was so kind and attentive.

Expectations were exceeded in all areas. The staff was lovely and they are doing a great job to make your stay even more comfortable!! The concept of the resort aiming for self sustainability is awesome. (gardening, chicken/ducks, saving water, not using plastic bottles etc.) Also the western kitchen at bamboo restaurant is amazing. Fresh vegetables from the garden that have actual taste. Burgers have been awesome too, easily one of the best we have ever had. The bungalow is decorated as lovely as you would sleep at someone's house and not in a hotel. We felt at home during our stay!!!

Drifter’s Anchor in Koh Chang is something special. Stayed here a week and it ended up being one of the best experiences I’ve had whilst travelling. Koh Chang itself is an incredible island, and Drifter’s makes you experience it properly. The resort is high up on the mountain. There’s a few steps to get up there however it’s more than worth it. The sunsets from up there are unreal: must be the best viewpoint on the island but not many people know of it. Drifters creates a proper community vibe. There are private bungalows and hostel rooms, which gives a good mix of people (but not overcrowded). Luke and Ben, the two brothers & owners from Canada, are genuinely cool guys and make everyone feel welcome from the moment you arrive. I honestly made friends for life while staying there. They built Drifter’s Anchor by hand, and you can really feel the care and effort that’s gone into it. They’re always eager to get people out together, which adds massively to the community feel. While I was there, we all went on days out all around the island, It wasn’t forced and wasn’t guaranteed. If you’d rather just chill, relax, and enjoy the views, this place is perfect for that too. The boys can arrange scooters or bikes to be delivered straight to the resort, and they’ll pinpoint all the best spots on your map so you can explore the island with spots rarely known to non locals. This isn’t just somewhere to sleep—it’s a place that stays with you. Incredible views, genuine people, and hosts who truly care about the experience you have. I genuinely can’t recommend Drifter’s Anchor enough and I’ll definitely be back.

Great place to stay ! We spent 5 nice days in Baanrimklong. The bungalows are big, clean , with great view ! The host is always there , ready to help you if you need, friendly and polite. Highly recommend! Definitely would come back .
