Rooms are located in 2 separate buildings. Rooms in The Avenue II are not located in the main building and are only accessible by stairs. All rooms at the Avenue Inn & Spa come with air conditioning, flat-screen TVs with cable channels and private bathrooms. Some rooms have a sofa bed too. To be honest we were a bit reluctant to book this hotel last minute. Why? Because on the pictures it looked a bit too old fashioned for our liking. In the end we did decide to trust the raving reviews and we were so glad we did! Not only was the room (in the main building) big and really comfortabel, it turned out the pictures didn't do it justice (or maybe it's just us being a bit allergic to the red, yellow and blue fabrics). Anyhow, we have enjoyed our stay in this hotel tremendously. The complimentary wine and cheese hour is a lovely touch! The location right in the center of Rehoboth Beach is perfect, as is the free parking. The breakfast was pretty good too. We enjoyed the pool for hours and had a wonderful night's rest. What more can you ask for?

It was so nice to have breakfast in a comfortable space with lots of big windows to the outside. Also there were lots of great options for breakfast: eggs and breakfast sandwiches, waffles, muffins, cereals and fruit. I loved the set up in the room - plenty of storage space and a well equipped kitchen. The staff were always pleasant and helpful.
