I new I booked into a concrete box hotel, but it was surprisingly nice. Book early, because there are only 7 rooms, and maybe because I arrived in the weekend, I got stuck with a triple room. It's located in town, close to a big supermarket, but a bit far from the bus station. It's easy to find, as it's signposted from the main road, down the alley ways. It's in a quiet area and it feels like you are on the country side, with palm trees and a cow grassing. The room was spotlessly clean, and had a table and chairs. I really liked the tiles everywhere, even on the walls, because they are so easy to keep clean. No window, but I don't mind as the air quality was very good with both Aircon and a fan. The wash basin was in the dry end of the bathroom. If it's 3 or 4 of you, then there is even a privacy curtain between the two double beds. The WiFi was excellent. There are some benches out front, but you don't really need outdoor sitting for what you might think you need them for here. Friendly staff, but almost no English spoken. Not really a problem though. I could have wished for bicycle hire, because Grab, which is meant to work here, doesn't! (No Grab bikes, No Grab cars), And the taxis on the street never stop for you.

The hotel was also in a quiet part of the neighborhood, so there wasn't a lot of car or foot traffic in this area of Tra Vinh

The gardens were gorgeous and lush and the cafe next door with the Kafka library were so relaxing and awesome. We loved the food cooked for dinner and all the cute dogs and cats around. Very tranquil environment and very kind and hospitable hosts. We also loved using the free bikes.
