The hotel was exceptionally clean and well located to walk everywhere in town. The bed was very comfortable and the shower worked well. Staff were lovely. We had the entire lower level to ourselves for a few nights, as the other room was unoccupied. Our own private livingroom. The only thing I did not fully grasp, is that our private bathroom was upstairs from our room; unusual but not a problem.

This place is a little paradise. Green grass, a great variety of colorful bird, sweet dogs, well kept trees and enough space between guests.It was very clean, peaceful and the personnel was all friendly and willing to help. We spent 6 days there and felt sad when we left. The breakfast was typical from that region and it tasted good. Take in notice that you will enjoy your stay better if you rent a car, in case that you come from abroad. Taxis will charge between 20,000 to 25,000 Colombian pesos to take you from there to Salentos’s center or to Salento’s bus station. We would come back and we recommend it 100%.

I thoroughly enjoyed the place. The location is 10 mins walk to the centre, the water was hot, the place is clean and very comfortable and spacious, and has the best view considering it is closer to centre The tours they offered were a lot and great selection as well. We took the coffee tour.

We had a wonderful stay at Rancho Ventura! It was definitely one of our favorite stays on our whole colombia trip! Nata & David are tremendously accommodating and will help with any questions ! Additionally if you have a heart for animals we would highly recommend it - all the dogs have a place in our heart even after just two days. The Finca is about a 10‘ jeep ride from filandia itself but it was never a problem to commute. There is a public transport (a jeep that comes by every now and then) that will take you to city center. If you have another area you need to go to (in our case for ex airport) it is no problem to arrange it through the hosts. The dinners at the finca were excellent - all the meals are super fresh with ingredients grom the farm itself or surrounding neighbors. The rooms are completely clean and very peaceful with the nature that is around the finca. We also enjoyed the hammocks that are on the terrace. Overall i can highly recommend staying at this stay!
