The room was clean and you felt very close to nature, which we appreciated for our stay in colombia. There were no insects or bugs. The garden was nice to relax after hike. The people Working there made our stay very comfortable, they were extremely kind and sweet. We did not have a car, but we took uber to cocora valley and to the coffee tour and then we returned to salento with willy.all in all it was very good

I liked everything about this place. The view was amazing, it was peaceful and calm. I loved the dogs around 🤗 And especially the people. Diego the owner and Johanna, who was doing the breakfast and laundry were both so sweet and kind. I got ill for a while and they were the sweetest and kindest people to me. I can totally recommend this place to you, if you wanna feel welcome and home and stay connected to nature.

Location is only few minutes walking from the main square so it is not a traditional Salento house. All the rooms are around a beautiful garden with nice views to the town and mountains, great to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning. Room includes kitchennet and fridge. The Experience at Rancho Ventura was amazing, David and his family were so welcoming showing us around the Ranch and daily life there. We were also brought on this walk through a river on there property which was spectacular. For any fellow backpackers that are unsure about getting there, there's a local Willy jeep from Salento to Filandia (9000 COP one way, although if you're getting in late to Salento they could be sold out so just make sure not to get caught on that.) And then in Filandia there's a local Willy jeep that goes out to the road where the ranch is on. (3500 COP one way, photo with red circle is location). The local jeep runs every day making it easy to get into Filandia and explore.
