AustraliaMichael, the host was very accommodating. He left a small welcome basket of goodies and the apartment was decorated for Christmas which was a nice touch. We only stayed one night as a stopover on our way to Belgium, but the apartment was set up well, so that a longer stay would have been quite comfortable.

Large room, friendly staff, dog friendly - hotel side (dogs not allowed in restaurant, but fine on the terrace)
Plenty of free parking, good food in the restaurant in the evenings, reasonably priced. Easy to find.

Lovely studio apartment, with an inside bike store, access to laundry facilities and a fridge. Everything for a pair of bike tourers. The room was immaculate and there was a kettle plus coffee maker, so we were sorted for breakfast drinks. Super bistro 200m up the hill, open Fri - Sun. Supermarket just down the hill 500m. Location overlooking the river in the midst of vineyards is perfect.

We like everything about this hotel. It is the perfect location when travelling between our home in Austria and our visits to family and friends in UK.
Friendly staff. Good sized rooms. Kettle in the room.
