Pet-friendly hotels and homes in Schüttorf

My favorite place to stay on my way from Amsterdam to Berlin or other places in Germany. Just behind the border in a beautiful, green area. Very quiet, with nice rooms, free parking and a fantastic breakfast: A lot of fruits, müesli, yoghurts, delicious German "Brötchen" (bread), eggs, cheese. For vegetarians also really enough choices. The people are so kind, and it's such a lovely place that I definitely want to go back there at my next German trip or holidays. Schüttorf is also worth a visit (Dutch and German infornation is available at the reception), and in summer a dive in the Quendorfer See is a highlight for the whole family, with the nice restaurant "Else am See" for really good food and drinks.

Amazing place, in the middle of the nature! The room is spacious, clean and warm and it has everything you need - a dining table, a small living room area, fully equipped bathroom and a very comfortable bed. The host is friendly and welcoming. The surrounding is calm, with no other noise than the occasional chirp of the birds - what a delight! Will definitely come back!

We liked this apartment. Interesting design - a combination of modern and elements of the previous century. Contemporary bathroom and painted wooden plank floors in the bedroom and living room. The kitchen had all the dishes and utensils, dishwasher tablets and dishwashing liquid. Only the frying pans are not non-stick, so you need oil when frying. You can also bring extra garbage bags. Towels and toilet paper were provided. Clean bed linen, warm blankets. Not many hangers for clothes, but there were two of us and it was enough for us. The wardrobe is in the bedroom. The windows are darkened with blinds, so do not try to use curtains - they are more decorative. We rented rooms on the first floor. There is an exit to a small veranda with a table and chairs where you can have breakfast or dinner. Your neighbors will live upstairs. And if they go up the stairs, you will hear them creak. You can also hear the water draining in their bathroom. But in our case, it didn't bother us. The apartments are located close to the castle, almost in the center. There was always a parking space. Of the disadvantages, the floor in the bathroom was not ideally clean. The sink, the toilet - everything was ok.

Pluses: A very good apartment with everything you need for longer stay. The kitchen is very comfortable and has all the things you may need to cook. Free parking is available right next to the house. The Internet works well. A beautiful park, a castle and some cafes are about 7 minutes away on foot. Clear instructions on how to enter the place. A lovely find! Very friendly owners and the property was in a quiet location but close to the centre of town. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good and great value. All in all, a great stay.

Super - place ; close location to stores snd pizzawe

The apartment was nice. The location is very central. We had a small issue after we checked in. The owner was quick with solving this. The terrace was comfortable and private. Once the leaves fall off the tree, there will be a beautiful view of the castle from the terrace.

The place looks exactly like the photos. It is really spacious and has everything you need.
