Fabulous location! The space was cute and it was right downtown in Maribo with a few restaurants and stores nearby. Close to the lake. There was enough room for all of us to stay. There was a kitchen to use. The bathrooms were clean. There was parking nearby, however on weekdays you may need to park farther away.

Amazingly cosy little B&B in a quiet coastal town. Super-hospitable host, who accomodated our wish to check in late at night. Charming stylish boutique hotel, perfectly located in a small, historic village by the sea. The completely uncrowded beach is 100m from the hotel. The facilities were excellent, staff first class and general environment unbelievably calm and relaxing. Regrettably we were passing through so only spent one night. Next time hopefully a bit longer. If like us you are driving from elsewhere in Europe to Sweden via the Puttgarden ferry, this is a perfect place to over-night.

There was a party with fireworks in the vicinity of the hotel on the night when we arrived, which was problematic for our dog who is very afraid of the fireworks. However the hotel manager went out of her way to help us, gave us the most quiet room at the hotel and treated us with drinks in order to compensate for this unexpected situation for us. Everyone was very kind and helpful, and in the end, the dog managed to take those 15 minutes that the fireworks lasted in a very good way. Thanks!
