The lodge was spacious, spotlessly clean, well equipped and comfortable. The hosts were very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Close to Killeshandra and some lovely walks. Pet friendly. Perfect for a relaxing break.

The location was fabulous and I was able to walk my dog around the estate which was beautiful. I stayed self catering with a fully equipped kitchen so could make my own breakfast. The hosts were so friendly and helpful will definitely be back.

I liked everything 😁 A wonderful, atmospheric house, a wonderful view, peace and quiet, a respite from the hustle and bustle of the city, an ideal place for people who love nature, the house is equipped with the most necessary things. And most importantly!!!, a wonderful host who responded quickly and was very kind, communication with him was top-notch 😊 I highly recommend it, we will definitely come back 🥰

We absolutely loved our stay. John and Grainne are the sweetest people and very accommodating, nothing was too big of an ask. They really made sure we had everything we needed and were comfortable. The whole place has this cozy, countryside vibe, stunning vintage furniture and decor, you feel comfortable as soon as you enter the premises. The room was spacious enough with a huge, comfy bed and a private bathroom. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and there is a great system in place where you choose your warm breakfast and time you want to have it a day in advance, so when you get to the dining room, everything is ready! There is a selection of cold choices, like fruit, yoghurts, soda bread, jams and cereal as well. We tried quite a few things from the menu during our three night stay and I couldn't pick a favourite. The tomato relish that came with my poached eggs was exquisite.

It was comfortable and spacious. It was warm. The living room and TV was great.

I hate booking somewhere without reviews and dont normally do reviews. This was a great find the cabin was exactly like photos 3 really good sized double bedrooms with good quality bedding 3 full bathrooms the place was really clean location was a dream in the middle of a forest but still a 5 min drive to a town with plenty of shops bars restaurants the balcony where massive and so nice to sit at nights the area was amazing really perfect for a family i would highly recommend these cabins for a family vacation cant wait to go back i would bring fishing rods river in forest is 100 yards away

Idyllic setting, tastefully decorated, ambient lighting and a lovely relaxing environment, I really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Peaceful, tranquil and the relaxing natural forest environment, birds, squirrels and the heavenly pine scent. So lovely, thank you, would love to return.

What an amazing location and the hosts were excellent

Location is a few miles out of Ballyconnell so definitely need a car to get around, however taxis were very easy to get so no issue with location. The cabin is beautiful, so cosy & homely with plenty of space. Beds were comfortable, cabin was warm and clean and the host was so friendly and helpful. The scenery around is beautiful too, overlooking the water and so peaceful.

Property was fantastic,would highly recommend it. House was spotless and beds were comfy and it is in a beautiful location.

We were at Drumconnick House for a family reunion. The property is beautifully decorated and the rooms were very comfortable and spacious. The main kitchen living area is perfect for everyone to gather and the house was extremely well kitted out with every convenience Imaginable. If the situation arises, we would definitely book again. Location was quiet, comfortable and handy to get to the wedding. The host also provided everything we needed including the log burner with everything needed.
