Palazzo Pirro Dimora Storica
Palazzo Pirro is an incredibly beautiful historical mansion, recently renovated with great taste, accuracy and attention to detail. Staying there was a rather unique experience. The rooms are perfectly clean and all comforts are provided (water, slippers, very good body care products from a local brand). The breakfast was very rich, with both sweet and savoury options, attention to dietary restriction and using locally sourced products. The hosts are extremely kind and available, they gave us advice on places to visit during our stay and put us in touch with other locals organising activities in the area. Palazzo Pirro is very well located to explore the area. It was an amazing stay and we are definitely planning to go back!

Great place to stay when visiting Abruzzo - near to so many amazing little towns and specially strategic for visiting Gran Sasso national park. The room was huge and super spacious. The staff super nice and helpful. The restaurant is a great plus - very good food served

Modern, super clean and well equipped with wonderfully generous extras both for an evening meal and breakfasts. Fabulous location in a picturesque hamlet outside San Demetrio with nearby walks and fast access to all the sites in the vicinity - 30 minutes to L’Aquila, 60 minutes to the top of Campo Imperatore. Cosy and warm during our stay in November, with space to relax and enjoy the tranquility.
