Pet-friendly hotels and homes in Appelscha

We really enjoyed everything – it’s a wonderful place where you can relax and unwind, as well as find activities for both children and adults. The cottage was very cosy and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. We’ll definitely be back!

That it was in a quiet area of the village

Really nice and clean house in a good area

A quiet place to stay in a lovely private garden, right on the edge of beautiful hiking or cycling trails through the heathland. It has everything you need and the breakfast is exceptional, very welcoming owners.

The house is huge! And at the same time very modern and cosy. I enjoyed this place so much. Nature unification 100%. The host is very responsive and nice!

Super friendly and helpful staff spoke excellent English and made time to chat which was. Ice

Very friendly staff, they helped us a lot and were very flexible with checkout time.

The campsite was perfect for our visit to watch the Assen MotoGP

We loved absolutely everything, Els & Johan are perfect hosts. The location is stunning, the accommodation is beautiful with a large double bed and beautiful views over the fields and garden. The dining/lounge area is huge and breakfast each morning was delicious, we felt totally spoilt. The chickens, a giant pond and the family pets, as well as Johan & Els, make it feel very welcoming and homely. There are beautiful local paths to walk or ride your bikes. We will definitely be back in the future.

A very well appointed room, with big comfortable bed and spacious bathroom with walk-in shower. Very quiet area and lovely garden. Nice little kitchen.

It was very cozy and the facilities were very well decked out. The owners were also incredibly welcoming and made sure we were wanting for nothing.

Sigrid, the owner, was fantastic. We travelled with a dog and it was the perfect location to travel with pets; relaxed and very welcoming. Breakfast was great and the room was spotless. Short distance to restaurants, but you’ll need a car

Taco and Mike, the hosts, were outstanding—attentive, friendly, and always ready to help. The house is beautiful, very spacious, and impeccably maintained, with several spotless bedrooms. The bathrooms were excellently equipped, providing high-quality towels and toiletries. The kitchen had everything you could need and more, perfect for those who enjoy cooking. Breakfast was very complete, with an excellent selection of bread, cold cuts, eggs, juices, milk, tea, and coffee. One of the highlights is the terrace: spacious, with comfortable sofas and a fantastic grill where I enjoyed several barbecues. The place is very quiet, ideal for rest, and easily accessible via a main road, just 3.5 km from the town. I also appreciated the option to purchase drinks (like wine or sodas) that were already available in the fridge upon arrival. The parking area is wide and convenient, and I was able to charge my electric vehicle at the house’s charging station, which was very practical (service with an extra charge). Overall, an excellent experience in every aspect.

It is a quiet place, clean and cosy
