Big and organised hotel with very polite and friendly employees, ready to help with a big smile. The facilities were clean and tidy + comfortable and large beds. We really enjoyed the lobby with the fireplace and the relaxing atmosphere and the spa facilities. The menu was okay and the breakfast ,full of options + high quality - working with local ingredients and producers. Just a few metres away from the city centre.

Very cosy and authentic hotel with exceptionally kind staff. Perfectly located - close to the city center but very quiet. Delicious Nordic breakfast with a lot of local and even homemade products. Many thanks for the nice & relaxing stay and see you again!

Lovely upstairs full apartment with fully equipped kitchen, spacious bathroom with washing machine, and a larger bedroom. We had a very comfortable stay and enjoyed learning about the history in the area.

The most stunning historic property in the most perfect location, just off the Main Street. So beautiful and you could not get a better location. The provision of 4 sparks to scoot around on the snow was a winner with the kids! The house had everything we needed for our minimal cooking. We loved the bird feeder out the kitchen window. Beautiful wood fire with a massive wood supply , we needed that for our -35 degree stay! The house was beautifully warm though. The provision of a PlayStation with games in the lounge room was an unexpected bonus for my teenaged son.

The place itself was fine in terms of layout and equipment provided. The parking space was useful.

Beautiful setting, very peaceful, only a 40 minute walk to the nearest town, only half an hour to the nearest supermarket. Wonderful woodburning stove, decent cooking facilities. No WiFi was a total bonus. The beds were comfy and the cottage was clean, warm and had everything we needed. Apart from a kettle maybe but that's a common thing in much of mainland Europe. The folk that look after it were very kind and helpful. And we saw squirrels.
