The place was very neat; on the first day, they had set up a Christmas tree and a selection of local treats, including bread, jam, marshmallows, and wine. To ensure a break from city life, there was a yard equipped with a barbecue and an oven. They provided us with wood and a bit of charcoal, and there were salt, pepper, and dishwashing essentials there too. Very welcome and hospitable host.

I enjoyed a lovely stay at this converted convent. I chose it as a place to stop on my road trip down the historic N2 highway due to its pet-friendly status. I expected a small plain room, but instead was treated to a beautiful, well-appointed one. I would happily return for a spa stay (they have multiple options on site) or even a few days to explore the area further. My room and bathroom were spacious and comfortable. It even included a small balcony. The hotel is beautifully appointed, and I love how they included many of the original features into the design of the property. The staff were friendly and very helpful, and there is ample free parking on the grounds.

Really wonderful hosts. The covered terrace area is a great place to sit out and relax and they have thought of everything you may need during your stay. The town of Serta is close by and has everything, supermarkets, nice restaurants and shops. We really enjoyed the peace and tranquility of the location, it is a lovely spot.

This little house is amazing, Joao could not have done more, he was extremely welcoming and friendly. All the facilities are really good and exceptional quality. Having the fire lit for us was a lovely touch.
