Pet-friendly hotels and homes in Videmonte

The location is perfect for anyone who wishes an early start to walk the "Passadiços do Mondego" (https://passadicosdomondego.net/fotos/); also Videmonte is a small village full of charming houses, with many being renovated; there is a couple who produces really good bread in the old fashion and also has delicious honey and herb teas; there is also a cheese artisan cheese maker; there are sheep and goats and a shepherd that still takes them in and out of the village; many fresh and ready to be used water fountains, beautiful nature and silence all around

It's located in a beatiful made of stone village in the mountain. You are welcomed by the hosts, not the self-check sterility, but a real welcoming :) They even have a flock of sheeps in the backyard <3

Top relax location and very nice and humble people

The staff was very kind, clean spaces, nice cozy lounge with billiard table and surrounded by great views. The wifi was down, so we had to change the apartment. The new apartment was great, no extra costs.

Peculiar little stone cottage, it has a lot of character due to the old-timey decoration and knick-knacks left around. The kitchen could probably not be better equipped, there were even packets of pasta, rice, flour, coffee, sugar, oil etc... everything! We chose the place due to its vicinity to the hiking path of Passadiços do Mondego.

Host was really nice. The house is at the heart of the city, just behind the castle. Everything is brand new and beautiful. It has a nice swimming pool and game room. All rooms had their own bathroom and tv. The house is amazing!

Amazing place in the middle of the nature, with orchards, river and quietness. You feel welcomed from the very start.

Quinta do Borges was a beautiful, peaceful, rural location, but was also close to Guarda so all amenities were close by. Apartment Quinta do Borges 2 is a lovely, but very quirky property. The bedroom was spacious and warm, with a large and very comfortable bed. The en-suite bathroom had an excellent shower. The kitchen was quite traditional and the layout took a bit of getting used to, but had everything you might need for self-catering. The hosts, Fátima and Fernando, were very friendly and helpful and were on hand next door, had we needed them. We didn't have as much time as we wanted to explore the grounds but we would definitely return for another stay in the future and hope to explore more next time.

Everything was flawless, which is a rare experience. The staff were super efficient, and with this , they were nearly invisible, the indicator of quality is obvious. We loved the outdoor pool, the water was almost acceptably warm. The receptionist kindly gave us a room with the best terrace overlooking the valley, so we could enjoy our coffee walking right through the balcony door.

Beautiful surroundings in a rustic location in the valleys, very peaceful . Host Sylvia was marvellous.
