We felt so lucky to discover Mathilda and Aryan’s place on the river near Lake Koman. We originally stopped for just one night before taking the ferry, but easily could have stayed several more. The setting is beautiful, with great hiking trails and a working farm where we enjoyed grapes and fresh produce right from the garden. The pool was perfect for an afternoon dip, and Mathilda and Aryan were such warm and generous hosts. Dinner with them is a must, the food and company made the experience unforgettable. The road getting there was a bit rough, but we just took it slow in our rental car and were fine and it looks like it should be finished in a few months. We’d love to come back and spend more time hiking, especially up to the fortress on the hill behind their house

The hosts were very kind and friendly, and you felt truly welcome. If you’re planning to visit Theth, we can only recommend it! And the view was truly stunning.

A pesar de llegar tarde nos hicieron una cena al lado de la chimenea ríquisima: lubina y carne a la brasa con raki :) El desayuno típico albanes de 10. Te hacen sentir como en casa y nos dió pena marcharnos. Ojalá podamos volver!
