This place is incredible. Right on the beach and run by a couple of brothers who are awesome. Perfect place to relax and explore Termales. It’s a beautiful spot but just remember in termales electricity and phone signal are not readily available so don’t expect that but what you do get in stead is beautiful tranquility and a whole New side of Colombia. Enjoy it!

Daisy was so welcoming and accommodating, especially as we had to change our plans at last minute and amend our booking. Daisy offered to book a boat to our next stop and help with accommodation too. The room was very clean and comfortable with a nice terrace space with a hammock to relax. The meals delicious and prepared with love.

The location of this hotel is perfect, right on the beach. If you fly into Bahia solano, it is about 40 minutes by tuktuk to the hostel, price for us in March 2026 was 60,000cop. The village of El Valle is about a 30 minute walk along beach and little laneway.

Set in Capurganá, a few steps from Capurganá Beach, La aldea offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a bar.

Located in Acandí, Mareselva Lodge provides free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a garden, a private beach area and a terrace. There is a fully equipped private bathroom with shower and free toiletries.

The property is run by Melissa, who is a wildlife conservationist by profession and therefore runs the lodge respecting the local biodiversity. The property was built by her family decades back, and so Melissa knows a lot about the area and its history. We really enjoyed going on horseback riding along the coast and her farm as well as going on an early morning hike to appreciate all the wildlife of the region. What I especially loved was listening to the history of the property and the region, and learning more about the various communities that live there. After long days, it was especially magical to sit by the sea and enjoy a drink being surrounded by fireflies!

Playa Verde Lodge is a new business and I cannot recommend highly enough! The location is perfect right on the beach and a short walk from El Valle. The room and balcony are of a great standard for this area. Comfortable with plenty sockets and a fan provided. Very clean, lovely big balcony to watch the sea. Erika and her sister who run the property have a small but perfect restaurant right next to the rooms. Erika looked after us fabulously, from bringing us coffee in the morning, organising tours, transport and of course cooking simple but wonderful meals during our stay. We wish them all success in the future!

Hospedaje Rural Shihumar features accommodation in Coquí. The inn has family rooms. At the inn, rooms include a wardrobe.

If you’re looking for the remote Nuqui experience then this is definitely it. It’s an experience for sure (you will be fully out in the sticks) The only thing I would say is this isn’t on the surfing beach and you need to get a boat there which takes half hour or so to get to. It’s not particularly cheap to hire boats. The staff/ family here who run the Homestay are lovely and couldn’t do enough.
