A recently renovated apartment, Centro Macas offers accommodation in Macas. There is a private entrance at the apartment for the convenience of those who stay. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. As the name suggests, The accomodation is located in a very convenient central part of the city. Many fairly priced restaurants around, and if you want to splurge, there are some upper-market cafes a short walking distance also. And as a cherry on the cake, there are some great views of a nearby, frequently erupting volcano Rosa, the host, goes above and beyond making sure you feel welcome, comfortable, and are armed with enough knowledge to get the most out of her city. I originally stayed here as a stop over town to break up my travels. But ended up staying a little longer because I enjoyed it so much.

There is a coffee shop on-site. It was wonderful. The hostal was nice, and the owner was extremely helpful. We got laundrey done last-minute and he even organized a rafting trip for us with two superb guides.

I long for the sound of the river and the birds! The staff is exceptional. They were helpful, kind and knowledgeable. They helped us experience the birds in ways I would have not imagined.

We loved everything about this stay! Our host was super lovely, cooked amazing dishes and shared a lot of information with us, when we asked. His cat and dog were the greatest, so cuddle-time is included! The room was super comfy, the bed had a direct view on the greenery, a big area to chill and a lot of hammocks with a jungle view and monkey sound!
