Nestled on the banks of the Nile, Hilton Luxor Resort & Spa offers stylish rooms with uninterrupted views from the water’s edge, luxurious spa facilities and stunning infinity pools. We stayed 5 nights in March 2024 in room 131 which is a double room with a king bed with a Nile view. This is one of the best hotels where we have stayed. The layout of the hotel is beautiful and the Nile can be seen from most of the hotel. We used the spa, which is beautiful, and we loved the time by the Nile. The staff were wonderful, from the reception to the restaurants to the spa. We were treated like a king and queen, everyone was so attentive to our needs Thank you so much !!! We would love to come back.

The villa is clean, comfortable, and well equipped, with all the amenities you might need whether you’re traveling solo, as a couple, or with a small family. The architecture is authentic and beautifully crafted, drawing on vernacular design to create a space that feels both charming and welcoming. Everything feels intentional, and the property truly stands out from its surroundings. What really makes this place exceptional, however, is the hospitality. The caretakers - Bahaa, Ezra, and especially Nasser - are incredible hosts and genuinely wonderful people. They were consistently friendly, attentive, and accommodating, always making sure I felt at home. The owner was very kind and allowed me a late check-in due to my evening flight. Just a minute’s walk from the property is the Nile, where you can enjoy beautiful sunsets and watch hot air balloons floating in the morning sky. The room I stayed in offered a partial Nile view. It’s an affordable, comfortable place, and I highly recommend it.

The place is very clean and spacious. We enjoyed the room very much! Breakfast was delicious and they prepared very early for us. There was a tuktuk driver who was taking us to the Ferry and the price was reasonable. We also arranged a transfer to the airport. I totally recommend this place.

It's in a small street but close to bigger street with supermarkets etc, also close to Karnak temple. The host is very helpful, willing to organise transport to and from the apartment, and available for communication.

Nour el Balad is an absolute gem tucked away from all the crowds. The guesthouse is a traditionally built home with lovely little details and decorations everywhere, and palm furniture including the beds. The breakfast included is delicious, but make sure to stay for lunch or dinner — the roast duck and molokhiya are absolutely outstanding! Luxor’s restaurant scene isn’t amazing and we ended up eating dinner at Nour al Balad every night of our week-long stay. Abdullah and his team offer warm hospitality and can also help with transfers and taxis as needed. We have stayed there twice now and can’t wait to return!!
