The apartment had a lovely balcony, and the whole building was peaceful and quiet, creating a very calming atmosphere. We chose this place because we have a dog in our family, and he was genuinely welcome here – something that meant a lot to us. Thanks to this accommodation, we were able to enjoy our trip to the fullest. It really felt like home – every evening it was such a pleasure to return and settle in for a peaceful night’s sleep. Warm recommendations to everyone – this place is simply wonderful!

Offering a sun terrace and views of the garden, Björnhofvda Gård is set in Björnhuvud in the Åland Islands Region, 30 km from Mariehamn. Björnhofvda Gård is a really nice B&B with excellent facilities and very, very friendly staff. Breakfast was also nice with more than enough choice. Location cannot be beaten: very tranquil, rural environment. Would definitely not hesitate to return when the opportunity arises.

The breakfast is among the best we have had in a BnB, with homemade buns, cakes and jams. Tea and her husband were gracious, friendly and welcoming hosts and had good tips for trips and things to see and do. The huts are small but cozy and very clean.
