The lovely hosts are always trying to improve these already excellent cabins by adding more thoughtful details. I loved the skylight above the bed. Best light for reading. Drift off to sleep with the stars twinkling above you. Great Deeside walks just outside the front door. Perfect cosy place for two; I’d say fitting four in here might get a little cramped, especially if you’re going to leave 4 people’s luggage lying around randomly. Hot tub a nice feature. One commenter complained about not being able to use it in the rain, which, frankly, is weird. When you’re immersed in hot water, the rain can’t touch you. The hosts were extremely friendly, and, in my case, literally went that extra mile! Big thank you to Karl, Bess, and Stacey!

Contando con vistas al jardín, The Shelter Stone Cottage ofrece hospedaje con un patio y cafetera, y se ubica aproximadamente a 46 km de University of the Highlands and Islands, Inverness. Such a lovely cottage! I absolutely fell in love with this town and would love to come back just to stay in this cottage and walk around some more. The beds are amazing, heating was great and loved watching tv in the living room. Our host, Dorothy was incredible as well!

Location was good as many things to do within driving distance. Would definitely recommend it. Perfect if you're looking for somewhere to base yourself. Going up ladder for top bed good for older kids.

Lovely apartment in a beautiful area, the hosts were very nice and even offered some breakfast items. You can do a nice walk through nature to the Nethy Bridge Hotel for dinner. But the best thing: a highland cow near the castle and the miniature donkeys you could watch from the porch :)
