The room was much better than I was expecting. Food and drink in the pub were good. The breakfast was very good value and the scrambled eggs were perfect.

The location is excellent, right in the middle of the holiday village of Thorpeness which is quaint, busy in the day and quiet at night. The restaurant is busy , though and worth booking. The rooms are lovely, very individual, well thought out and exceptionally clean, warm and welcoming. Tea and coffee facilities were good quality. The staff are truly lovely, friendly but not over friendly and the food was excellent. Their breakfast choices are wonderfully eclectic and locally sourced. We love this place and return regularly.

Esta posada, de gestión privada, ofrece unas vistas magníficas a los valles de los ríos Stour y Box. Breakfasts were very good , made with local produce, I think . (apart from the baked beans). The staff were friendly and prompt. Very impressed. The rooms were lovely and quiet, not too close to the pub.

Este pequeño hotel rural de propiedad familiar situado al norte de Suffolk en su día fue una casa rural pública y, aunque ha sido completamente renovado, aún conserva su belleza y carácter histórico. Large and comfortable room, super king-size bed, amazing food in the restaurant and the friendliest, most welcoming staff you could hope for. Dog friendly too. We'll definitely be back for more.
