Some rooms are air-conditioned. This property surpassed my expectations. I was expecting a chateu-like milieu, which was there - every room is a little bit special and has a few nice touches. The staff was very friendly, and since there are only about 20 rooms or so at the property, it feels like everyone gets a bit of special attention. What was beyond expectations: - I was traveling with vegan family members. I would say that many hotels in the Hungarian countryside claim to cater for vegan guests, but at this hotel we got many things we did not expect: vegan starters, vegan cakes, and they were all delicious. The breakfast was a bit of an outlier, but it was more than compensated by the great lunch and dinner options. - Having the descendants of the noble family living at the castle gave it a bit of an extra royal touch.
