The staff are super nice, felt like home. Loved the view from the property, nice location, and walking distance to many things. Felt very safe, the neighbours are also friendly. The puppies there (Blacky & Winnie) were so cute!

The accommodation provides evening entertainment and room service. Our stay at Rambai Tree lodges was magical. Tia was incredibly helpful and the people in general who work for Rambai and within Bukit Lawang are so so lovely. She helped sort us out with a guide to go and see the Oragutans and we managed to see 8 of them in one day. The guides are knowledgeable, interesting and passionate giving a wonderful overall experience. The food was exceptional and Tia is a phenomenal cook, always providing us with delicious fresh fruit afterwards. The location was exceptional, right on the edge of the National Park and with the roaring sound of the river outside, it was big, clean and comfortable. When we arrived we were greeted by Thomas Leaf monkeys on our porch, it was truly magical and I would recommend this place in a heart beat.

Although there isn't hot water for shower, the staff brought us buckets of hot water each day, and that was adequate to bathe my child. They also arranged the jungle trek for us, we were able to trek directly from the guest house. It's also located very close to the bat cave, 10-mins walk and we highly recommend visiting these caves, and with a local guide hired at the entrance. Without the guide we wouldn't have known where to go.

The owner and staff are super kind and welcoming. The apartment was so functional--I can see why it can also be rented long-term. Favorite thing was probably the hammock and view of the lake, as well as the convenience of the vegetarian restaurant!

Tailana Island Pulau Banyak has a garden, private beach area, a shared lounge and terrace in Alaban. The property features a bar, as well as a restaurant serving Asian cuisine. The accommodation features a tour desk, and currency exchange for guests. We had a wonderful time in Tailana! The island is paradisiac and it's easy to snorkel around it because there's almost no water current. Also, you can wear whatever type of bathing suit you feel comfortable wearing here. The facilities are beautiful and a great compromise between comfort and adventure. Beds are great, the bungalow was clean and spacious, the mosquito net is probably the best one we've encountered in our trip so far, toilets were always clean, and we really enjoyed the open-air coconut shower. The manager Thomas and his helper Lukas are very friendly people, and made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We also loved the food. Edo is such a talented cook, and he didn't mind us watching every step of the preparation of our meals and asking him lots of questions. We would definitely come back to this place because the whole experience was beautiful.

The personnel was very kind, the room was spacious and had a nice view. We did not eat at their place (went to other restaurants) but we did a jungle trek with them. We had an amazing guide who helped us carry in the jungle our 2-year old child. The 2-day trek was adapted to our family needs. We also used laundry and massage services recommended by the owner. All was perfect.

Paco an Carlos are Fantastic guides and excellent people, although Paco sings terribly!!! ;) Special mention to the food; it's tasty and varied, with different homemade desserts every day. I will definitely be back!!!
