The accommodation provides evening entertainment and room service. Our stay at Rambai Tree lodges was magical. Tia was incredibly helpful and the people in general who work for Rambai and within Bukit Lawang are so so lovely. She helped sort us out with a guide to go and see the Oragutans and we managed to see 8 of them in one day. The guides are knowledgeable, interesting and passionate giving a wonderful overall experience. The food was exceptional and Tia is a phenomenal cook, always providing us with delicious fresh fruit afterwards. The location was exceptional, right on the edge of the National Park and with the roaring sound of the river outside, it was big, clean and comfortable. When we arrived we were greeted by Thomas Leaf monkeys on our porch, it was truly magical and I would recommend this place in a heart beat.

The location was great, because you are really in nature and the river is right next to it. We went on a 2-day trek and it was incredible to see an Orang-Utan mother and her baby! The guides were very funny and kind, I felt really comfortable. Another highlight was the BBQ we did together with live acoustic guitar music. Also we made the village tour where I learned how Tufo is made and the locals were all the friendliest people. The WIFI was working fantastically. It was the perfect get-away from the busy city life. I will definitely come again, thanks for everything.

Mario Lakeside Apartments is a recently renovated apartment in Tuk Tuk, where guests can make the most of its free bikes and garden. The owner and staff are super kind and welcoming. The apartment was so functional--I can see why it can also be rented long-term. Favorite thing was probably the hammock and view of the lake, as well as the convenience of the vegetarian restaurant!

Tailana Island Pulau Banyak has a garden, private beach area, a shared lounge and terrace in Alaban. The property features a bar, as well as a restaurant serving Asian cuisine. The accommodation features a tour desk, and currency exchange for guests. Very beautiful location with excellent food and nice areas for snorcheling. Accommodation and toilets are very clean and i appreciate there are also european toilets, which was comfortable for me. I also enjoyed the outdoor gym and other sport activities as kayaks, voleyball etc. Compared to other islands in Pulau Banyak there are almost none mosquitos. Staff was very helpful with organizing transport to and from tailana island. Thank you for pleasant stay and i hope i will have opportunity to come again.

We all loved the placed and we will absolutely come back, the stuff was super nice and the activities we did were amazing!!! Our tour guide was very gentle, helping us with everything we need it, the tour to see the orangutans was a dream come true and the hike we did even though was very difficult ( we choose the difficult path) it was so magical no one want it to finish, we decide to choose a tour were we sleep in the jungle for one night and we just wish that we could’ve stay more, there were monkeys everywhere we were so high in the mountains that we can see the clouds near us, a totally mystical experience. Thank you all we will keep this places for ever in our hearts

Paco an Carlos are Fantastic guides and excellent people, although Paco sings terribly!!! ;) Special mention to the food; it's tasty and varied, with different homemade desserts every day. I will definitely be back!!!
