But even better was how incredibly helpful the host Carlotta was. She provided all kinds of great suggestions for what to see and where to eat and provided help with transportation. The latter was particularly appreciated as the train station is a bit of a ways from town and with the elevation you can’t just walk to/from there to get to Taormina.

In the very great location, close to beach, restaurants, easy access to Taormina and quieter neighborhoods. We much preferred beach near this place instead of going to crowded Taormina area. Room was spacious, clean with lots of fun arts. Great breakfast and host was very helpful and nice.
