Katsu was a lovely host!! And thank you very much for the stay and for showing me your atelier. Perfect place to stay as a bike packer after a rainy and wet day. We were able to chill and wait until the rain ended to get back on the road. Thank you again!

We loved the location, the cleanliness, the host communication and especially things like the small touches - fresh local orange juice, fresh local sorbets and more. The bathroom had wonderful shower and bath with great pressure. We could not fault it for a lovely stay in Ainan.

Stayed there while cycling the Shimanami Kaidou. Very spacious traditional house, with a great backyard for dogs. They even have a grooming table and dog bed for those that bring their pets. There are laundry facilities and a comfortable living room. If you don't bring food, there are a few choices to buy in place (enough for a couple, not for a family).

House was in a good location close to restaurants and supermarkets. About a 7 minute walk to train station. Everything was lovely and clean and beds were comfortable. It was well equipped. Communication was very good with host and instructions for gaining key access were easy to follow.

The house was fabulous. Very old world outside but modern inside with all that you could need for your stay. The sunset from the bay was spectacular. It was really quiet and peaceful but only 5 minutes away from the city with its shops and restaurants.

This was the biggest house we had found to rent on our trip so far, it has plenty of rooms and beds for group travel. Everything was modern, with plenty of toilets and showering facilities. The supermarket is super convenient and the waterfront view was amazing. Our only regret was we didn't stay longer!
