The property very convenient to Kawachiyama pottery village with lovely views over the hills surrounding the village. The owners generously left bottles of water and beer, tea,coffee, instant noodles and breakfast bread as there isn’t a food store in the village. There were also generous bathroom and laundry supplies and access to Netflix on the TV. They organised a taxi for me for my return journey to the station as soon as I requested it.

It is a over 100-year old traditional Japanese house with newly renovated toilet and bathing facilities. We occupied the whole ground floor with spacious area; cooking utensils and microwave are provided in the kitchen. In front of the Inn is a vast farmland, unfortunately, it was cloudy with light drizzle on that day, otherwise, the scene would be lovely. Although the owner of the Inn doesn't speak English, we tried to communicate via Google Translate and could feel his zest in operating the Inn

I was about to check out on 29th Aug but was caught with a typhoon due to which all public transport was suspended. I had to extend my stay. The stay was as comfortable as my previous days of stay. It is privileged that there is a 7-11 convenience store very close to the hotel. The hotel was a good harbour for me during the uncertain situation outside.
