I was so excited to stay at the Riad Zaya and the pictures did not disappoint! One of the most beautiful places we have stayed for the value of the money. It was a short walk to the gate of the Medina when we had to meet up with a driver. The rooms were super clean, the breakfast was great, but what will bring us back again is the staff. Our host, Youssef, took wonderful care of us. He helped with reservations, tours and even cooked us dinner. We now have family in Fez!

Perfect location, the staff are very nice and are helpful when planning activities and booking restaurants. The roof terrace is beautiful and has an amazing view right over the city. The breakfast every morning was a highlight as well. We would stay here again.

The property was clean, quiet, calm… It was further away from the center of Fès which was perfect because the city was too noisy. After a long day in the city we were able to relax in this beautiful place. The garden also was clean and taken care off you can have a nice breakfast with a view of the pool. There were cats so cute so we brought them food so they could join us. The host is an amazing lady and she made sure that we were comfortable. Everything is already there so no need to take your hair dyer and so on… me and my family loved it !

The riad is beautifully designed—peaceful, full of character, and impeccably clean. My room was comfortable and charming, with traditional touches that made the experience feel authentic.

A special thanks and deep appreciation to the kitchen chef, whose incredible talent made my stay even more memorable. She prepared a special Refesa just for me upon request, and it was absolutely exceptional beautifully crafted, rich in flavor, and prepared with such care. It was a highlight of my trip and a gesture I will never forget. I've flown from Germany to Fes, and I would say that even if the only thing I did in Morocco was to have breakfast on the terrace on the top of Dar Rihanne, the travel would have been worth it. The view is exhilarating and magnificent, liberating, after the experience of the chaotic bustle of the narrow streets of the Medina. Besides, the host are genuinely nice and friendly

I was awed upon stepping into Riad Ranya! The soaring ceilings, exquisite tile work and abundance of antique wood features made this riad a standout. Welcoming mother/son team, Malika and Youseff, made me feel like a member of their family. Malika cooked up a storm of traditional Moroccan food — abundant and delicious. I didn’t even think about eating elsewhere! Youseff spoke English and was a treasure trove of information about the Medina he grew up in, local lore and tours in and outside the city. The terrace offered panoramic views of the ancient Medina rooftops, all while being only a minute walk from the Rcif taxi stand. I returned for a second visit at this lovely riad later in my trip.
