Lotfi arranged for a taxi to and from the airport and woke up at a totally unreasonable hour to see us off. He was available to help with any questions or recommendations. The breakfast that was served on the roof terrace was one we will never forget - wild pomegranate, fresh-squeezed orange juice, a selection of beautiful jams, local butter & honey, warm bread & corn cakes, eggs prepared in tajine, and an enormous pot of perfectly sweetened mint tea. We couldn't possibly eat it all, but we tried! The location is fantastic and we loved walking through the souk (there is a leather dealer just inside the entrance on the left who was incredible in helping my daughter find two perfect bags among hundreds and he adjusted the strap length right there). We would absolutely visit again!

Tip: try to take the ferry to Nador instead of Melilla, saves on border crossing time!
