The beach and the laguna are fabulous for bird watching in the morning. We loved the view from the terrace and the pool too. The owner was super kind and helpful, gave us lots of recommendations for beaches, restaurants, day trips in the area and he even helped us plan the rest of our trip in Mexico. Our only regret is that we couldn't spend more time there.

Very impressed overall. The room seemed quite minimalist at first but it was so well designed that it lacked nothing - hot water, air conditioning, ceiling fan, supplies of drinking water, insect repellent, charging points, beach towels, balcony with hammock. The housekeeping was excellent - each morning out for early breakfast, the room cleaned by my return. The hotel is situated at the very end of the beach, five minutes walk from Playa del Amor, and about twenty minutes walk from the main centre, either along the beach or along the tracks. There are coffee and bread buns freely available in the morning but for a fuller breakfast I headed to beachside Lola's Restaurant five minutes walk away.

There was an issue with our bungalow, but the staff was very helpful and understanding, and we ended up changing rooms in stead. The rooms were beautiful, and definitely made up for the work/inconvenience of moving places. The common areas are great, and have a very welcoming, warm and calm vibe. Best recommendations from us!
