By far the most comfortable accommodation we experienced during our trip through Namibia. It’s arranged in such a way that you could practically live there. There was even a fireplace with a built-in grill and firewood ready to use, though unfortunately, we didn’t have time to enjoy it. The property is in a great location on the edge of town, so you don’t have to drive through the center to reach major attractions like Pelican Point or Sandwich Harbour. It’s also close to good restaurants, some are even within easy walking distance. You can also walk to the lagoon.

The Rez Guesthouse, a property with a bar, is situated in Walvis Bay, 38 km from Atlanta cinema, 38 km from Otavi-Bahnhof, as well as 41 km from Martin Luther Steam Locomotive.

We had an amazing stay at The Rez Guesthouse. The accommodation overall as well as the apartments themselves are not just clean and in great condition but also with a made with a great sense for details. We felt more than welcome and kind of “home away from home” when we arrived. The staff is super kind and helpful and the breakfast buffet more than we wished for. Very nice and quiet. Bibiana is very welcoming host, was pleasure to stay at her place, she cooked us wonderful breakfast. Farm is very well maintained, clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Zara Vineta. Esther welcomed us and showed us everything in the house. She is very friendly and helpful. The house was spotless clean, i We were 3 adults and 3 teenagers, we stayed very comfortable as all the rooms are very spacious., as well as the living room and kitchen. You can walk 100 m to the sand, and another 100 m to the water, I even walked barefoot to the beach. Very good value for money. We will stay again at Zara Vineta when visiting Swakopmund.
