He also brings a welcome drink and apples . The apartment was big and clean , everything you need is available and no need to buy anything . Very comfortable. This family-run hostel lies by Lake Vangsvatnet, 1 km from the village of Voss. It has a TV lounge and a communal kitchen. Free WiFi is available in common areas. Location was super good, just 15 minutes to walk from centrum. The Staff was friendly and helpful, clean and spaceous rooms, tasteful breakfest, wonderful view of the lake and mountains.

Historic Jaunsen Gjestgjevarstad offers home-cooked Norwegian cuisine, free Wi-Fi, and free private parking. Voss is 25 minutes’ drive away. We had a great stay at this very hospitable and immaculately kept historic guesthouse. We had a two-night stay and all member of our family, including three teenagers, felt very much at home. Location is excellent for touring the wondeful Hardangerfjord area. All food from breakfast to dinner is homemade and plenty, using the best local ingredients and prepared by a talented chef. We highly recommend the dinner, it was the best food and overall dining experience in a 10 day tour around Norway, and we really appreciated the stories and little surprises offered by the charming hostess.
