Very nice hotel in Ayacucho and great value. I stayed for five nights at the start of a bikepacking trip. Pilar was a great host and was very helpful as a fellow cyclist. The room had everything I needed and the kitchenette was great for making breakfast. WiFi was fast enough to do work. It was a bit of a walk from the centre, but it was easy and cheap to hop a bus nearby (just make sure you go the right way). While it's not in the historic centre, the neighbourhood was very peaceful and there was some good restaurants nearby. Update: Pilar offered to ship a bag of extra clothes and things to my final destination of Arequipa. I'm happy to say it showed up as promised. This made my life much easier and it shows Pilar's dedication to her guests. Upgraded to a 10 for that.

The bed is comfy, spacious room, clean bathroom and a kitchen can prepare simple food. There is a big terrace upstairs equipped with sofa and laundry area. The owner is super helpful. Thought it’s near the airport, not noisy at night as not too many flight in the city. And buses are just outside the hostel to the central area directly and also bus terminal. So the location doesn’t really bother me.

The rooms were beautiful, big and cozy. The hotel is well located, very closed to the main square (less than 100 meters away) and it also offers a nice breakfast and tea bar. Great location, about 3 blocks from Plaza Mayor, quiet. A beautifully kept hostel with big comfortable rooms. Breakfast up on the top terrace was special - the tables were set with bespoke earthenware crockery, nice coffee, fresh juice, delicious local buns (like pita), butter & jam, scrambled eggs. However, it's the staff that really shine, so friendly, helpful & genuinely caring. We had 2 issues that the woman who runs the place sorted for us, no problem at all. We couldn't have stayed in a nicer place.
