This was the perfect stay for our first time visiting Cusco! Michael was so accommodating and made us feel right at home. He took the time explaining the history of the area and mapped out restaurant recommendations and the best things to see during our time. He prepared us packed breakfasts on the days we were not able to attend our included breakfast due to our early excursions. The sit down breakfast was home cooked made to order and so delicious. Room was perfect for us - clean, comfortable bed, hot shower, hot tea and bottled water on our floor was always stocked, wifi kept us connected. Our furry friend Cusi was an added bonus. Location was 5 min walk to restaurants and about a 10-15 min walk to downtown historic district. No issues from our travel tours picking us up from the property.

Mery’s refugie is a total bless. The shower was actually running hot water! The bed was comfortable and warm, and both the dinner and breakfast prepared by Mery were the best food I’ve had in Peru! The fried trucha and the homemade guacamole were god’s food. For such a cost you really cannot find a better performance! Highly recommend!

I used the Sauna and did the weaving activity, and both were truly amazing! I was feeling a bit unwell due to the altitude and felt the sauna relieved some of my symptoms. The weaving was very special- we collected nearby plants to make the dye and was taught by the owners and one of the elders the full weaving process. Of course, the rooms and view were beautiful. I was blessed with Lama visitors in the morning which was very special! I am definitely coming back to try the other activities and spend more time.
