Just 8 minutes drive from the Velasco Astete Airport, the Sonesta Hotel Cusco is less than 1 km from the city centre. All rooms feature a mountain or city view. Fantastic, everything was great!

Michael is an outstanding host! From start to finish he was always present, with great communication and really cared about making our stay the most comfortable. He really pays attention to details and all staff are very nice. Breakfast is great, he prepares it individually to each guest. He helped with tips and even prepared a very special dinner to celebrate the Independence of Peru, it was a lovely night with authentic and delicious Peruvian dish. Last but not least, this was the best shower we had in all our stay in Peru.

Rudy and Claudia are doing a wonderful job making travelers feel like at home ❤️ My boyfriend and I have absolutely loved this place, and if we ever come back to Peru, we would definitely stay here again. The location is perfect, we have made this place a base camp for three nights, and visited all the sites nearby - salt mines in Maras, Ollantaytambo and many others. The place is spotless, spacious, they offer great breakfast and dinner, Claudia is an amazing chef 👩‍🍳. You can also enjoy sauna and yoga, but we didnt manage this time. It is super quite at night, and who knows, maybe you also run into their super wellbehaved pets - Max and Tupac 🐶 🦙 thank you so so so much!!! Wendy & Ondrej

The hospitality was superb. Such a warm welcome to this beautiful place. Food we had was also excellent and the best we had on salkantay trek. Rooms were clean and comfy - great after a long day walking. Showers lovely and warm too. Owner goes above and beyond to help you. Breakfast also great and sets you up for the next day hike. The environment was also very relaxed and chilled, on the track for salkantay so you can easily carry on your walk. We also loved the animals there, super friendly and cuddly :)
