It was nice to be somewhere peaceful so that we could properly relax & rest before our adventure. The hosts are very friendly too, the room was clean & the air conditioning & Wi-Fi worked well. The eco-lodge is on a beautiful property full of birds, plants, nature sounds, etc. and the pool is such a nice way to relax and cool off. It's very easy to get to via shared car aka colectivo. Some Spanish would definitely help, but with a sense of aventure and Google translate, you'd be fine!

The bus into the city leaves from right outside the property so it's easy to get around. Good place to rest and have a relaxing peaceful time. Host was friendly welcoming and attentive, made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.

It felt like a secret jungle hideout, tucked away down a tributary of the Amazon. The hosts were adorable and treated me like family, cooking delicious meals for me, even taking good care of me when I was a bit poorly with a head-cold. I don’t speak a word of Spanish, yet we managed to communicate just fine and even had some interesting conversations! Thanks also to Enrique, my jungle guide, who took me on a fascinating kayak tour. This time of year the whole area is flooded, so it almost feels like staying on a boat! But there were also kayaks available if I wanted to get out and explore. Although for me I was quite content to relax, meditate and soak up the good vibes. Thank you Liseth and Wiler - I will certainly be back if I ever return to the area.
