Everything! Casalay is a perfect get away from the hussle & bussle of Manila. It is perfectly situated and gves pictureques views. The room is lovely. The bathroom big and water pressure very good. This place offers great value for the price. It’s well located, close to Puerto Galera, and although it’s near the road, it’s surprisingly quiet at night, and traffic didn’t bother me. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with working (though a bit loud) air conditioning, comfy beds, hot water, toiletries, toilet paper, a kettle, drinking water, and good Wi-Fi. There’s also a great restaurant at the entrance where you can have breakfast and enjoy solid meals between 9am and 9pm. The staff were friendly and helpful as well. The bed is pretty comfortable with multiple pillows. The place is also clean (though a little run down, here and there).

We had a really nice stay at Galera Lodge - wish we stayed longer! Upon stepping foot their front gate, we were immediately welcomed by their adorable puppy (looked like a poodle). And then, friendly golden retriever quickly joined in. I knew right then that I would love our stay! Apart from the pets, the ambiance in the common area/garden and the cafe was very relaxing. But the real charm of this place is their staff! Everyone was nice and helpful. They made sure we got settled in and attended to everything we need. Our senior citizens definitely enjoyed and so we will come back next time we visit Puerto Galera.
