Set in the upmarket Buna Ziua residential neighbourhood, above the centre of Cluj, Grand Hotel Italia is a palatial luxury hotel furnished in Italian Liberty style. Free WiFi and free parking are provided. This is the third time we stayed at this hotel and I can say that we will continue to do so whenever we are at the city. The rooms are very spacious, you cannot find hotels with this size of rooms anymore. Breakfast was delicious with a lot of options at the buffet. They solved the WiFi problem, this time it worked perfectly. Facilities (sauna, pool, bar) is well.

Golden Tulip Ana Dome Hotel enjoys a perfect location only 15 minutes from the centre of Cluj-Napoca, easily accessible by public transportation and by car.

The Golden Tulip provides free guarded parking on the premises and an underground garage. While I will not comment on the location (not interesting for the purpose of my staying there), I can say that the staff was friendly, helpful and professional, the room was very clean, breakfast was good (quality and diversity). Also, there is free parking (and a parking spot seems to be priceless in Cluj). I am rating with a 10 because it was exactly what I needed for the goals of our 3 days staying in Cluj.

Bloom Downtown Suites features accommodation within 300 metres of the centre of Cluj-Napoca, with free WiFi, and a kitchenette with a dishwasher, an oven and a toaster. The air-conditioned accommodation is 700 metres from Transylvanian Museum of Ethnography. The property offers soundproof units and is situated 400 metres from Banffy Palace. We booked the apartment for a week and received clear instructions for entry with codes, both for the main door and the apartment itself. The apartment is amazing — absolutely perfect! Very spacious, everything is new and beautiful, modern and well-designed. There is a huge amount of space, both in the living room and the bedroom. The kitchen is fully equipped and modern. We prepared meals all week and enjoyed cooking. There is also a coffee machine. The bathroom and shower are very comfortable and spacious. The beds are comfortable, there is a walk-in closet, and a large, beautiful dining area. The highlight was the heated floor — amazing! The apartment is very well maintained and thoughtfully designed. The Wi-Fi connection is excellent and very fast. The owner and the staff are available, responsive, and answer every question, providing immediate solutions to any issue. There is a shopping center in the area, restaurants, and it is located in the middle of the Old City. Public transportation is nearby, and you can easily get anywhere in the city. We didn’t rent a car, so I can’t comment on parking. My children and I were very happy. This was the best apartment we’ve ever stayed in, and we travel a lot. Thank you so much for the wonderful hospitality — we hope to return one day.

Cluj Avram Iancu International Airport is 6 km from the property. While it is a small apartment in an old house, the space is perfectly optimized, and everything is new and nice. And it had the best bed in our trip. Would like to stay there more.
