I've never stayed in a tent before, so I was nervous about this, because it was far out of my comfort zone, but it turned out to be a fantastic experience overall, one that I will never forget. This camping is at a 10min walk from the beach and shops area, and I was pleasantly surprised to find the facilities there exactly like in the photos. I loved the design for the shower cabins & toilets, and all the decorations added tastefully to complete the esthetic of the place, vibing with that Vama Veche feeling. Georgiana and Stefan, the owners, have been beyond wonderful to me. They are truly amazing people, professional and involved 100% in what they do, fun to be around with, and so kind and caring. They have raised the bar for hospitality. I don't think I have ever left a place I stayed in while I travelled, where at the end of the stay I felt so grateful to the owners for the experience. Fantastic people! So if you want to feel what Vama Veche should feel like, choose Makeeda, definitely, even if you travel alone or with a group of friends. Makeeda is your homebase for amazing sunsets, making new friends, going out for parties, trying good food at the beach side, good people, refreshing sunrises, all you need for a perfect summer getaway.
