The area is great, close to nature. The common area is super nice, we played boardgames there, prepared dinner and had a chance to talk to other guests. The igloo was very well planned and equipped. We got an upgrade to a riverfront igloo, this was really appreciated, thanks!! Highly recommend booking riverfront igloos as you'll get front row views to the lake.

Dining at Niehku was a culinary delight; the menu focused on local ingredients, with dishes that were both hearty and sophisticated. The wine selection was equally impressive, perfectly complementing the meals. Simply relaxing by the fireplace after a day in the mountain was such a nice experience. What stood out was the personal touch in every aspect, from the bespoke adventures to the warm, home-like atmosphere of the villa.

The host, Johan, was really nice and hospitable and the location itself was lovely as it was remote and allowed us to gaze up at the aurora without light pollution getting in the way. Unfortunately I believe those were the only two reasons I was not entirely disappointed with my choice.
