We needed an accommodation near the airport. Therefore the location was great. It is very convenient to get a taxi from and to the location. On top if it, the vibe in this place is very welcoming. Although there is no staff and it is a self check-in place everything is well communicated and works smoothly. The room was good enough for a short stay and extremely clean. The bed was comfortable and we slept so well. There are snacks one can eat and a small breakfast is available at the open kitchen.

We had an incredible stay at Chao Motel during our recent trip to Taoyuan, Taiwan. This was my first trip to Asia and my first trip to Taiwan, so I didn’t know what to expect. I had reached out to the motel prior to our trip with questions and they were very responsive, which I was very impressed with their customer service. The rooms were immaculately clean, modern, and well-equipped with thoughtful amenities like a spacious shower and high-quality toiletries. The beds were extremely comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep every night. I really appreciate the air purifier in the room. My mom got sick on day 2 of our trip and I truly believe the air purifier and daily cleanliness prevented me from getting the same throat infection my mom had. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. They were always ready to assist with calling a taxi for us, and provided helpful recommendations for local attractions and dining. The motel’s location was another highlight – conveniently situated near restaurants, shops, and public transportation, making it easy to explore Taoyuan and beyond. Chao Motel also stood out for its peaceful atmosphere, which was perfect for relaxing after long days of sightseeing. Our family, including my 13-year-old daughter, found it to be the ideal base for our trip. The breakfast was delicious and was included. I chose this motel because it offered both western and Taiwanese cuisine. You can get eggs made to order every morning and their special meal of sirloin beef, shrimp and squid was delicious! My daughter loved her scrambled eggs and chicken nuggets. We enjoyed the variety of foods too. There is a car port/garage where you can park your car and the room is above on the second floor. I never stayed in an accommodation like this before but I loved it and so did my family. We highly recommend this motel for anyone looking for exceptional service, comfort, and convenience in Taoyuan.

This place is super clean. The beds are very comfy and the bathroom is spacious and functional! The room has lots of thoughtful touches - free water bottles, snacks and even a fancy coffee brewing machine which will grind the coffee bean to your desired coarseness. We feel like we are staying a five star hotel! The free breakfast has amazing choices - from protein, to veggies, fresh fruits to various drinks. How wonderful to jump start our day with a substantial and nutritious breakfast! The location is 15 minutes from the airport which fit our needs to get to the airport leisurely for our flights. Highly recommend this place!

Super friendly hostess, she helped with going out for food catching the bus and allowed free cancellation when I accidentally booked for the wrong day. Wonderful mountain view. It’s a quiet place and relaxing. It’s super near from the Taoyuan Airport about 6-7km. The owner also is very accommodating and she’ll give you about everything that you need. She replies fast and even helped us book taxi when we check out. Theres also a lot of suggested place to visit by the owner. I hope i can try it someday if we are not rushing. The room is spacious and i felt good vibes. There’s also complimentary bread and drinks that you can enjoy. I will definitely recommend this to my friends who will visit Taipei that still need a room near airport before exploring the city.
