We spent 23 nights at the Orchid Hotel and loved every one of them. The hotel is only about a year old, is family owned and operated, and was designed with comfort and ambiance in mind. Because of the length of our stay, the owner gave us a tour of three rooms when we arrived that matched the type we had reserved so that we could take a look at them to compare the view and the room layouts available and allowed us to choose which one would work best for us. The owners are totally hands on and have only a small staff to assist them at the front desk and in housekeeping. They were all very kind, attentive, and committed to ensuring our stay was a memorable one. The location is convenient for walking to the lake or the downtown area (if you enjoy walking) and then you can take a Grab back to the hotel to avoid walking uphill on the way back (which we did as as we are older and didn't want to walk uphill back to the hotel). There are many local restaurants and coffee houses available nearby but the breakfast provided at the hotel is homemade and delicious with a slight variation from day to day. As a retired former hotel professional, I highly recommend that you stay at the Orchid Hotel if you are considering a visit to Da Lat as you won't be disappointed in the hands on service they provide.

This place might not be in the most perfect location, but it's a great value for the price. There’s not much to complain about. The host is friendly, the facilities are new, and the service is good. I was really happy with my stay!

The staff was exceptional. The gentleman was extremely kind, and despite not speaking much English, he carried such a positive energy. He also helped me when my motorbike wouldn't start as I was leaving which was greatly appreciated. The young cute lady was also extremely kind, offering me some fresh fruit when I arrived and always greeting me with a warm smile. The bungalow itself was nice, especially after a long motorbike trip up the mountains.

Originally booked for 4 but extended by 2 nights as we liked it so much and it really made our trip in Da Lat! We were upgraded to the 2 bed apartment. Kitchen had all the cooking amenities e.g single hob, fridge, bowls, kettle, cooking pot etc. was great to cook as haven’t had the opportunity since starting our travels! Apartment was very clean and they even gave us fresh towels every other day. Large double bed downstairs with en-suite and large double bed upstairs with en-suite bathroom. Tv and seating area downstairs. The couple were so lovely and welcoming we felt like their children. They helped us with getting to the homestay from the airport and recommended the cheapest taxi with excellent instructions on how to reach the homestay. They also dropped off some fruit, nuts and a sweet potato to us some evenings and offered us breakfast on our last day ❤️ We also climbed Lang Biang and they offered to clean our shoes and wouldn’t take no for an answer - now they are sparkling! We were also able to use the washing machine so could do some much needed clothes washing. We hung our clothes outside and if we were out when it was raining they kindly brought it inside for us. The location of the homestay was perfect. Just a short walk from the pink church, 10 minutes walk to the crazy house and 20 minute walk to the centre of town. You can also easily get a taxi or grab delivery etc. Overall it’s been one of our favourite homestays in our 4 months of travel, not only was it comfortable and convenient, the love and kindness of the elderly owners made this place home. If you’re coming to Da Lat make sure you stay here!

Breakfast is in a restaurant just across the street - a la carte with eggs, noodles, yogurt, teas and coffee etc. Very good breakfast, high quality and good service.

This was an amazing stay. The owners of the home are very kind and welcoming. They have motor bike rentals which are super convenient. The home is well maintained and the rooms are spacious and airy. Fan is the room works well. Bathroom is nice. About a 10 minute walk into town.
