We mainly used the rooftop lounge for the pool and jacuzzi. Upstairs the staff tended to every need with kindness. The massage services were top-notch! And even dinner in the hotel was lovely. WiFi signal was strong throughout the hotel and the rooms were spacious, highly clean and well air-conditioned. The hotel is 20 minutes walk from old town, or 10 minutes bus ride away (with the bus being just around the corner). And another bonus was the grocery store right below the hotel for every need.

The modernly furnished Hotel Meteor in the picturesque Makarska seaside resort offers elegantly decorated accommodation and an exclusive restaurant with skilfully prepared meals, accompanied by fine Dalmatian wines and free soft drinks from a dispenser. The breakfast buffet was amazing. They also have the best location; it's right on the beach and has the best view of the town. It's very kind friendly, but you can still have a pleasant 'adults only' experience. We also appreciated the free parking.

It was the best option for us, we were looking for a clean, quiet place, with good facilities, to spend our holidays. We definitely found that, very helpful staff and the food was really good, fresh, diverse. Our kids had everything they needed, from their space in the room, to playgrounds, pools, walking roads, etc. We definitely recommend this place and will come back.
