There isn't anything that this hotel hasn't thought of providinig to the guests. The rooms are cleaned every day, every inch of the hotel is perfect and spotless. There is a library, a piano, a pool table for those looking for some entertainment and there are jacuzzi, saunas and steam bath for those in need of relaxation, which are also the cleanest I have been to. The breakfast is great, all varieties of food for everyone's needs. The rooms are very spacious and stylish. All in all, the most perfect place for you and your friends or family to stay when you want to see the gorgeous city of Split. I recommend them wholeheartedly and I will definitely go back. Main Bus and Train Station, as well as Split Ferry Port with daily connections to nearby islands, is just 700 metres away. Split Airport can be reached within 25 km. Free parking is possible at a location nearby. Host met us as we drove in. Helped us with where to park our car, where in a busy city like Split we would have had trouble knowing where to leave it as we traveled for two days. The host were excellent.

The modern 4-star beachfront Medora Auri Family Beach Resort, situated in Podgora town in the heart of Makarska Riviera, closest hotel to Biokovo Skywalk, features heated outdoor swimming pools, a wellness centre and a rich animation program. The staff is very friendly and helpful! Big thanks to the pool bar waitress Adela, the kind woman who made the perfect little pancakes in the morning (Vesela and Natalija), the animation team who are really very good with kids and the receptionist Ivana!

Built in 1921 and completely restructured in 2015, the Hotel Park Split is a traditional first-class hotel in the centre of Split, right next to the famous Bačvice beach. It offers an outdoor pool and an upscale restaurant. Free WiFi access is available throughout the property. The provided a complimentary upgrade to a balcony suite and we’re very accommodating about dinner reservations and late check-out.

Urania is a hotel resort located near the beach. Each apartment is equipped with a kitchen and a living room with a sofa, satellite TV and a telephone. Parking is also available.

Family Resort Urania consists of a central building featuring a reception area, beach bar, self-service restaurant and a holiday club. Around this, are arranged the bungalows and apartments. Resort Urania really surprised me in a good way. We stayed in a two-bedroom apartment that was spacious enough for 4 people. The apartment’s equipment was unbeatable – the resort really thought of everything. The rooms were clean, and while cleaning was done on request, you could change the sheets yourself whenever needed (I don’t see that as a minus). Breakfast was very rich, with something for everyone. The quality of the ingredients was high, and the fruit selection was one of the best I’ve ever seen in a hotel. Dinner was the same story – very tasty food, a wide selection, grilled dishes on the terrace, and a large variety of desserts – and not just different puddings or jellies in cups like you often get in supposedly “higher-class” hotels. These were real baked cakes and pastries. Within the hotel grounds there’s a perfect children’s playground, big enough so it doesn’t get boring quickly, and our son really spent a lot of time there. You could reach the beach within a few minutes, it was really just a short walk. There was plenty of space on the beach, it didn’t feel crowded at all. Note – it’s a public beach, so umbrellas and sunbeds are only available for a fee, and the price was quite high (around 15 euros for a set of two sunbeds and an umbrella). There were plenty of bars and restaurants in the area.
