La habitación era muy limpio, cómodo y simplemente idílico. Además tenía una ducha medio-fuera de lluvia muy agradable. Borja y Yuyun son muy amables y atentos! Además de darnos un montón de tips para cosas que hacer en la isla nos consiguieron un pastel para celebrar el cumpleaños que hizo nuestra estancia una verdadera pasada! Gracias!!

La atención del personal, la ubicación excepcional literalmente al lado de la entrada del parque nacional, además organizamos con el hotel la excursión de 1 noche en la selva y fue una experiencia inolvidable más allá de todos los orangutanes y animales que logramos ver nuestros guias fueron increibles e hicieron de nuestra experiencia algo unico.

Beautifully maintained gardens and incredibly friendly staff at the Travelodge. We opted for a 2 day, 1 night jungle trek to go for orangutan spotting. Our guide Selemat was very supportive and an expert on everything in the jungle. His knowledge and experience meant that we saw 9 orangutan in 2 days when some trekkers didn’t see any! Special shout out to our cook Padly, who treated us to a sensational Indonesian dinner in the middle of the jungle! Terima kasih!

The best place to stay in Padang. Just a 5min walk from the port for the fast ferry. The staff are lovely, the beds are very comfortable, and the bathrooms are super clean. Big plus points: the rooftop and the peace and quiet! We spend 2 nights there, our home in Padang 🙌🏼

The host is a really chill, down-to-earth guy who genuinely cares about his guests. He was very accommodating to my situation and made sure I was comfortable throughout my stay. The room was clean, spacious, and a great place to relax after a long day. At first, I wasn’t planning to do the trekking because it was a bit out of my budget, and we initially disagreed on the price. But despite that, he went as far as to let me set up my tent on his property for free to ensure my safety, which really showed his kindness and hospitality. One important thing to note—before booking, make sure you can afford the trekking with him. He’s very passionate about it, and there could be some misunderstandings if you stay without booking a trek. But overall, if you’re looking for a welcoming place with a great host and a solid trekking experience, this is a great choice!

The resort has fairytale location, landscaping, and design of the traditional, wooden cottages. The staff people were professional, very helpful, and pleasant. The two drivers provided us with great service and information about the region’s culture and traditions.
