Staff at the hotel provide excellent service. In the restaurant and bar, the staff are mostly young people who are very professional and friendly. They gladly switched to English to accommodate our lack of German. I feel they deserve recognition. Breakfast is superb. Huge variety of quality items, constantly refilled by attentive staff. The beds are extremely comfortable. Appreciated the welcome refreshments in our room. Perhaps make clearer that there are meals/snacks available at beach bar into the evening - we went into town on our first night but wouldve stayed had we realised food was available in evening (we ate in the restaurant on our second night). The beach and pool area are fantastic - swimming in the lake before breakfast: highlight of our stay.

Key collection and entry were very easy, parking spot was reserved for us. The apartment was even better than we expected from the pictures: very spacious, looked like it was newly refurbished. If you have a car and are looking for a place close to Hallstatt to stay with your family, I highly recommend this spot !!
