I only stayed for 1 night but wish I could have stayed longer! The room was clean, very comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless. I didn't get a chance to use many of the facilities but I was shown around when I checked in and they looked excellent. There are activities on every night if you'd like to do something with the other guests.

This property is in a great location for exploring the island. You can see rock wallabies in the rocks at the end of the beach and koalas on the Forts walk just up the road. The rooms are great, really clean and comfortable. The Bikini bar next door does great food, the smashed avo toast is a breakfast fave.

We have been travelling around Australia for five weeks during Christmas - staying at Luxury Oceanview is one of our best holiday memories. The apartment is spacious and so beautifully designed, but the best thing is the balcony. Sitting on the balcony, haven a direct beautiful view over the ocean, hearing the waves, looking out over the rocks and seeing the little wallabies jumping around, it was so lovely. Apart from that, the apartement was clean and in top condition. The pool was also good, although we prefer swimming in the sea (liked Alma Bay). Staying in Nelly Bay is also great, the ferry arrives there, you have restaurants but also a good IGA to shop in. You can easily take the bus to Picnic Bay or Horseshoe bay. We also rented a car from a company in the same building for 70 AUD per day. Easy! I would also like to say that Louise who met us and took care of the check-in was great. She shared good tips and she surprised us with a Christmas basket with various delicacies. Many thanks again for that :-). Very appriciated! We would love to return to Magnetic Island. Once again this was a great stay in every way. Greetings from Christer and family from Sweden.
