Convenient to everything in the Hunter Valley. Beautifully presented. Very clean, comfortable and homely. The pool was very nice. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Complimentary wine tasting at Alter Cellar Door was great too. A great time had by all.

I couldn’t have been happier with everything about the property - it wasn’t just the stunning mountain/sunset views, immaculately clean common area including a fireplace, a large dining table, a comfy lounge with blankets, DVD’s, books.multiple outdoor chairs and a beautiful inground pool, but the most important thing to me were how hard the hosts, Marie and Mark work and have worked to make Elfin Hill what it is today. Also, for the last 26 years. They are the loveliest couple you will ever meet. Nothing is too much to ask for. Breakfast is available if you’d like to order it. It’s a 7-8 mins drive to Cessnock for general shops or a similar length drive to the Hunter Valley Gardens and Harrigan’s bistro/bar/pub. There are a lot of wineries, cheese shops and other great places nearby. I absolutely loved my stay!! Thank you so much again. Rebecca
