It's much better than we expected (better than in the pictures). The staff is great, attentive, and kind. Everything is really clean. The non-luxury rooms are not old as some reviews suggested (the colors on the furniture make them look older, but they are not). The pool is not so big, but it is not as small as some people suggested, just enough to refresh yourself. There is a beautiful river besides the motel where you can refresh yourself even more (11C water temperature) 😀 Great value for money.

Close to river and a lot of fresh fruit to eat

Our stay at Villa Herzegovina was absolutely delightful and exceeded all our expectations. The villa perfectly matched the descriptions and images provided, ensuring there were no surprises upon arrival. What impressed us most was the tranquil ambiance, despite being situated in a populated area. This serene environment offered a peaceful escape from the daily hustle and bustle, yet remained conveniently close to the city. We highly recommend Villa Herzegovina for anyone seeking a relaxing retreat with the perfect balance of seclusion and accessibility.

Everything was fantastic! The location is great, 15min taxi ride from the city, and there are a few restaurants in walking distance. The villa itself was nice and clean, and the best part was the infinity pool and the outdoor kitchen where we spent most of our time. It is also incredibly quiet and super relaxing! Our host Dario was also great, which made our stay even better! Will definitely come back, a 10/10 experience!

Belma was a wonderful host and helped us with everything. The location of the house was excellent, very close to the city center, so we were able to both explore and enjoy swimming during our holiday. Thank you for everything, Belma!

Highly recommended – the absolute best of all the houses we've rented in Bosnia! This summer, we had an unforgettable stay in this beautiful villa in Buna, together with another couple. Over the past years, we’ve rented several houses in Bosnia, but this one definitely stands out as the very best. The house itself is in perfect condition: modern design, spotless clean, and equipped with air conditioning in every room – a true blessing on hot days. Everything was there to feel at home from the moment we arrived. The pool was simply amazing: peaceful, very private, and located right across from the Buna river. On hot days, we could cool off in its crystal-clear, ice-cold water – a refreshing and unique experience. The location is also very convenient, with many interesting sights nearby. It’s the perfect base for day trips while still enjoying calm and comfort at the house. The owner is truly exceptional – a kind and welcoming man who takes great care of his vegetable garden (you’re invited to pick fresh produce!) and even has a salmon and trout farm in the front. It was magical for the kids, and for us a culinary delight: we ended our last evening grilling fresh fish from the property. In short: a fantastic stay at a beautiful location in a top-class house with a wonderful host. 10 out of 10. We’ll definitely come back!
