If you browse through my ratings, you may notice I am easily pleased and hard to displease. This needs to be said, of all the hotels I have ever stayed in, The Notary is an easy top 3 in decoration, ambience and vibe, top 5 in location and convenience, top 5 in value, top 10 in the dining experience (while still being REALLY good), but it takes the absolute first place in staff. Starting with the owners, as well it should, we felt more like we were staying with good friends than in an actual hotel. Beautiful building within walking distance to almost every landmark, extremely well appointed, flawless decoration, I have nothing but good things to say.

Everything. Literally. From the entrance, through the florist's, shop and garden to the very roof. Art in every corner, brass tub, amazing climate, absolutely unique design. Just great taste.. ..and the Artist who made it - Mr. Frederiek. All in all you will consider if it's worth to go out to see the Brugge or if it's better to stay inside and enjoy this place. It has its parking lot. The beds are very comfortable, and everything in the room is perfectly designed to the smallest detail. Thanks to the Casa Romantico team for making us feel at home.

Nicely renovated historic home. Everything was new and clean. Very comfortable for our group of 7. A 20-minute walk to the Markt and next to a bus station made getting to the city center easy. Excellent communication with the hosts. and a nice welcome snack upon arrival. Highly recommend for a trip to Bruges!
