Hotels with Pools in Barra Nova

We had such a great experience at Varandas Beach Hotel that we initially booked 3 nights and ended up extending our stay for another 3 — we simply didn’t want to leave! The atmosphere here is amazing, especially on weekdays when there are fewer guests. It almost feels like a cozy boutique hotel — quiet, intimate, and incredibly relaxing. The staff are warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. The breakfast was delicious every day, and the overall quality of the food in the restaurant was excellent. There’s a great variety of dishes, everything we tried was fresh and tasty, and the prices are very reasonable for lunch or dinner. One unique and pleasant surprise was the swimming pool filled with seawater — something we don’t often see, and it added a special touch to the experience. We also appreciated the themed evenings — for example, one night they set up a projector and played movies for kids. It made the place feel even more family-friendly and thoughtful. There are plenty of activities and entertainment options for both kids and adults. But the true highlight is the beach! It’s wide, clean, with soft sand and incredibly clear water. You can even rent little quads to ride along the beach. During low tide, natural pools form with warm, calm water – perfect for little children to splash around safely. Honestly, this has been the best beach we’ve seen in the last two weeks of traveling. It’s a perfect spot for families or anyone looking to unwind in a beautiful, peaceful setting. We would definitely love to return one day!

I like the privacy and how nice the place is!

Wow. I cannot say enough good about Jurema. The chalet was beautiful, modern, and had an incredible beach view. The proximity to the beach is fantastic- there is a gate with access right in front of the resort. The beach itself is beautiful, with a gorgeous view of unspoiled shoreline to each side. There are occasional dune buggy drivers, and we saw a couple of people riding horses, but it was overall very quiet and peaceful. The staff were exceptional. They went far above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, and were so patient, kind, and understanding. They checked in with us via WhatsApp and helped us with food and transportation arrangements. Our Portuguese needs a lot of work, but thankfully there was staff to assist us in English, too. For everything else, Google translate was a lifesaver during our trip to Brazil. They even checked in about any preferences for our breakfast, which was massive, and delivered right to our room. If you are looking for a restful beach vacation with modern facilities, a beautiful, private cottage, top-notch service, and beach access, I cannot recommend this place highly enough.
